Modern runes Font
Problem
When mentioning vikings, Norway and Danmark often comes up, but people often forget there is another Scandinavian country, Sweden, that too have had a large viking kingdom. This is something that Svenska Turistföreringen wants to change and with it bring the history of the Swedish vikings into the future.
Insight
Create a new font inspired by runes that can be used by Svenska Turistföreningen when they advertise the history and archaeological findings of Swedish vikings.

Idea
When studying the runes you can find there is a system. By tweeking the letters you get a more modern and futuristic font, inspired by the alphabet of the old viking language.
Advertisement in the form of posters for Svenska Turistföreningen. The font is used as a header and is divided in two rows as runes always tend to be, which also grabs the attention of the observer. Runes are colored red so of course I had to use red for the advertisement.
The runes have a spacing between them that, together with the lines over and under them, creates a grid which Modern Runes Font is based on.
